Homes Under Construction

Foundation Inspection
Performed prior to backfilling around the foundation and placement of concrete floors. This allows assessment of the footings, below grade masonry work, initial utility preparations, waterproofing measures and site preparation.

Systems Inspection
Performed after the installation of all systems but prior to drywall installation. This permits the examination of the structural elements and framing, sheathing, insulation, plumbing, heating, cooling, temperature control and electrical systems rough-in.

Final Inspection
Performed at the completion of construction but prior to move-in. Two types of inspection are conducted simultaneously. First, a full home inspection will be completed, examining all systems and their proper operation. Additionally, a "Punchlist" is developed. This is a list of items which are not complete or not completed according to industry standards and is highly useful in the final walk through with the builder. We remain flexible and will inspect based on a schedule meeting the requirements of your lender and builder.
